Lake Wentworth

Lake Wentworth covers 3,116 acres, has a maximum depth of 89 feet and an average depth of 32 feet, and is located completely in the town of Wolfeboro.  Stamp Act Island is the largest island in the lake at about 100 acres, and is owned by the Nature Conservancy.  There is one public beach on the island, but the rest of the island is closed to the public and used as a nature preserve.
