Dan Hole Pond

There are actually two Dan Hole Ponds – LIttle Dan Hole Pond and Big Dan Hole Pond. The two ponds are located in Tuftonboro and Ossipee, and are connected by a concrete dam.

Big Dan Hole, known for it`s fishing by the locals, is approximately 408 acres with a maximum depth of 130 feet. Little Dan Hole is about 80 acres, with a maximum depth of about 24 feet. Boats on Little Dan Hole are limited to electric motors less than 5hp. Very peaceful!
