About Me

I am a real estate broker.

I am a mom.

I am somewhat addicted to my computer.

I am also somewhat addicted to ice cream in the afternoon.

I am NOT a pushy-sales-type-of-agent.

Once you are my client, I expect you to be my Facebook and/or Twitter friend. Not into those?  That is fine, but you do not know what you are missing!

This blog is mostly about real estate stuff, but is also could be about mom stuff, about kiddo stuff, about New Hampshire stuff.  My pre-real-estate career was in accounting, so you will probably see lots and lots of statistics too.  I firmly believe you can not really know the market until you actually dissect the numbers, compare them to previous years, and put them in a nice graph.  I know that all of this is not going to interest everyone, but it sure does interest me!

I used to be the proud member of a very established national real estate chain, but made the break and started my own company a few months after my son was born.  There is no way that I am going to trade making a few more dollars for spending these irreplaceable first few years with Benjamin.   If you work with me, you are bound to meet him.  I would suggest bringing some Cheerios if you want to make a good impression.

I am online by 5:00 AM, every day.  My husband leaves for work at 5 and the munchkin gets up for the day at 6:30. There are no words to describe how valuable that hour and a half of quiet time (accompanied by a pot of coffee) is for my work and for my sanity! I use that time to respond to emails, peruse any new listings, scan the dozens of feed in my Google Reader, and plan the day ahead of me.

I do not do print ads.  They are not worth my time or the big slice of my budget that they demand.  Newspaper advertising is great for agent self-promotion,  but that is it.   If you want to put a print ad in the newspaper for your listing, feel free.  I will cut your commission in half if we find the buyer through that ad.

I DO, however, have your listing around every corner of the internet.  About 80% of today`s buyers search on the Internet for their home,  so that is where I am.   Which would you prefer as a buyer : a full color video of the property coupled with a narrative and complete descriptions available 24/7,  or a grainy black and white two inch square picture on page 48 of  Thursday`s newspaper?

If I work with you buying or selling a home, you will get 110% of me. I love my job and and very proud of the service I give my clients.  Email me!
